Het is een mooie, rustige bestemming om lange wandelingen of pittige hikes te doen. E\u00e9n van de hoogtepunten binnen het natuurgebied is het beklimmen van Mt. Orphir, door sommigen gezien als pittiger dan de klim naar de top van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veelzijdigmaleisie.nl\/mount-kinabalu.htm\">Mount Kinabalu<\/a>. Voor de ingang van het recreatiepark Gunung Ledang ligt het Gunung Ledang Resort. De prijs van de standaard kamer bedraagt RM120, de duurste kamer RM260 per nacht. We wilden niet in Malakka zelf verblijven, en dan is Gunung Ledang een prima plek niet ver van Malakka vandaan. Het resort moet het vooral hebben van natuurliefhebbers die naar de top van Mt Orphir wandelen. Er vinden vaak bedrijfsuitjes plaats, en dan is het resort meteen vol. Jaarlijks komen dan ook veel bedrijven langs voor diverse leuke groepsactiviteiten zoals klimmen, wandelen, survivaltochten en raften. Vanaf het resort kun je echter de berg (Mt. Orphir) niet beklimmen, hiervoor moet je aan de andere zijde van het park zijn. Het resort is wel een prima uitvalbasis voor het beklimmen van de berg.
